We are just about finished painting Brianna's room--only the door remains, and a second coat on the frame for the huge closet door, and Brianna needs to add the centers to the three flowers she painted herself. The walls are sunny-day-blue, with grass all the way around the floorboards and lots of flowers and half a dozen butterflies. Brianna helped me do all the grass, but I did the flowers and butterflies one day last week when I got home a few hours before she did. She came in and looked around and said, "You know which flower is my favorite? This one. No, that one. No, this one. Well, they're all my favorite." Then she looked around again and said, "Oh, Mom! It's more beautiful than I wanted it to be!"
